Miranda IM 0.7.6.2 is an instant messenger that supports multiple protocols.
It can communicate with other instant messengers like AIM, Jabber, ICQ, IRC, MSN, Yahoo, Gadu-Gadu and others.
It has a lots of plugins to extend its functionality.
To install the program, you will need to install an OpenSSL compatible library. If you don´t, the program will offer you to download and install one from http://www.slproweb.com/products/Win32OpenSSL.html.
You will need to create a profile before using the program, and enter your AIM and ICQ details, if you intend to use that identities with Miranda. You can also import contacts at this stage.
By using the Options menu you will be able to enter the info about each one of the protocols, in order to communicate with Miranda using that networks.
You can set different status for each Messenger. Say, you can be Online using MSN and Offline for ICQ or Jabber. Using Miranda you will be able to send messages, files, emails, view profiles, start NetMeeting, and group your contacts.
